When you first get started with World of Warcraft, you will quickly learn that non player characters (NPCs) with large yellow question marks over their heads have quests for you to complete. These tasks will ask you to do a variety of different things and in return, you will get experience points and rewards that allow you to level faster. It seems fairly simple, but it is important to remember that just like there are many ways to level in WoW, there are also many different types of quest as well!

The most common type of quest by far is going to be the quests that ask you to kill something. You may finish this quest by simply killing the requisite number of things in question, or it might be related to things that these mobs drop. You may also be asked to kill a specific named mob, which is usually a little tougher. This type of quest meshes quite well with grinding.

But you will have to some traveling to do with the delivery style of quests. At starter levels these quests will be seen quite often to move you to another zone. The quests are usually given to you along a message of some sort or maybe even a package to delivery. These really can vary in range, some are simply across zone deliveries while others can even be on a different continent. In extreme cases you might travel across worlds to delivery them.

Timed quests have a limitation on how long you can take to do it. There is usually plenty of time for the quest, but remember that if you take a timed quest, it should be your top priority. Timed quests are often also timed with delivery quests. Escort quests ask you to help a friendly NPC get from enemy territory to a safer place. You will often encounter an escort quest when you are in an area on another quest, so make sure that you finish that quest before you take the escort quest; an escort quest will usually take you away from the area that you are currently in. Escort quests are often easiest to do if you have some help, as it will almost certainly involve fighting multiple mobs at a time.

There are holiday quests which are only available at specific points of the year. Two such holiday quests are Hallows and Winterveil, these are great quests as you will be rewarded with a large amount of exp upon completion, and they are not overly difficult. These quests will consist of such things as trick and treating, or performing a certain emote towards a non player character.

Questing is a big part of WoW when you first start out, it will greatly benefit you to have a quest leveling guide.

When you first get started in World of Warcraft, it can feel like you are leveling fast. After all, you can usually get from level one to level ten in the space of a few hours, and it can be easy to think that the rest of the game is going to be like that. The truth of the matter is that getting to eighty can be a real challenge, and if you want to get there sometime before the next expansion hits, there are some tips that are going to be helpful to you. These tips can be used for any character, so just remember them the next time you log in.

Professions are not exactly necessary for leveling, so remember that. Even though you can train them you have to realize that leveling a profession can take just as long as leveling does! Of course some professions may assist you in leveling but the time they take to level can be a real pain.

Of course skinning is not in the same category. Skinning is a type of gathering profession which will not effect your leveling time, all the materials come straight off the monsters you are fighting. Of course with leatherworking these skins can make some great armor, but to keep things moving you should just sell the skins.

Of course you will need gold to keep your leveling speed up. Not only will the gold keep you in gear but will also allow you to train your skills. Sell every single thing you end up picking up. It is always good to buy bigger bags when you can afford them. The auctioneer addon will allow you to more easily sell your skins and get the money from them.

Leaving a level before you are completely finished can hold you back when trying to level. Many people have differing opinions about this, but generally by finishing one zone you will be better prepared to take on the next one. Each level is more difficult than the one before and will take more persistence and skill to emerge victorious.

By finishing each of the different zones completely, you are going to be able to be prepared for the next one. Being prepared for the next zone is going to be important the further into the game you go, and while killing mobs that are better equipped than you are gives you more experience points, it can also slow things down to a crawl.

You should consider building a party of players to help you advance. Questing in large groups can help you move through scenarios faster but you will end up splitting experience between party members. You can gain a lot of experience in a dungeon, but they are best done with a group. You can depend on your higher level companions to help you through tougher scenarios, they can be a big help at more advanced levels.

A fast leveling guide is essential to gaining levels quickly. Make a plan of how you want to progress and go ahead and run with it!

The possibilities in World of Warcraft are endless, with a myriad of roles to choose from. For the curious but hesitant, the shaman is the best way to experience the game through a single character. A valuable addition to supplement any party, the shaman allows you to transcend class boundaries and partake in roles from harming to healing. With the proper strength and development, the shaman’s flexibility is especially helpful in gaining access to raiding parties.

When you want to level your shaman, consider some of the weaknesses that you are dealing with. For instance, your totems are the mainstay of your power, but they are fairly easy to destroy. Similarly, you are highly dependent on mana, and you have no long duration party buffs. Another thing that might hold you back is that when it comes to tanking, you are not going to be able to wear plate armor, which puts you behind paladins and warriors.

These issues are rough to deal with, but they are far from impossible, so take some time and consider what your advantages are going to be. In a party setting, you will be able to resurrect other toons and when you set up your totems, it can give your party some impressive buffs. Similarly, you have instant cast damage spells, which will at least make you fast at putting out damage, even if you are not going to top the damage charts.

As you begin your journey as a shaman, the first thing you want to do upon entering combat is release your searing totem. This will allow you to draw the mob with your lightning bolt. Not only is this action vital to your group during a fight, but it also puts you immediately at the forefront of the action to inflict damage.

How you begin as a shaman is quite important. For instance, earth shock will stop casters from casting at your or healing, and this can be a great way to incapacitate them. Similarly, if you are simply soloing mobs, consider starting off with lightening shield.

Another talent the shaman has it that it can be used very effectively for crowd control against a large number of opponents. An earthbind totem will trap the mob and keep them from escaping. When fights take place in a confined space or with too many units for much movement, using this technique can keep a mob from advancing on you.

Consider picking up the skinning and leatherworking professions. Not only are you going to be able to make armor that you can wear, you will also be able to pick up the bonus, Master of Anatomy, which gives you more critical hits.

If you are interested in playing a shaman in WoW, find the best leveling guide that suits your needs. If you know you are going to be playing an Alliance toon, get a guide that will direct you towards your in game goals!

If you are interested in rolling up a paladin when you go to play World of Warcraft, you are going to be playing one of the most versatile classes in the game! Paladins have the capability to tank, to heal or to deal out damage, and they have the potential to do all three almost equally well. What do you need to know when you are thinking about leveling your paladin and what tips can you use to keep your character going all the way through to eighty?

When you you are first getting started with your class, remember that you need to keep your seals up. Seals are paladin buffs that last for ten minutes. As a matter of fact, you need to make sure that you have a seal up before you can use some other spells. Consider what seals are going to be best for you, and if you are planning to group with others, consider which seals should be cast on each one.

A paladin is not as gear dependent as a warrior, but as the other class that can wear plate in the game, it is something that you need to consider. Wearing plate happens at level 40, and if you are going to be tanking, look for gear that will enhance your defensive ability. On the other hand, if you are going to be healing, getting gear that will keep your mana regeneration high and that might make your mana pool bigger.

If you end up soloing you need to be weary of casters. Because you are melee classes you can’t attack at range and need to be near your victim. If the thing you are fighting can attack from a range, you will be in a pickle. You are able to stop a monster from casting a spell by using Hammer of Justice. Keep this in mind if you are fighting alot of casters.

There are quite a few addons which can really help out any healer type paladins. You will be placing many different seals on different party members, so a good addon allows you to track what seals are on what person. There are great macros out there as well which takes care of all your seal casting needs, this can really bolster a group.

Also you should consider leveling a profession as you level your paladin as well. Most paladins tend to choose black smithing along with mining because they can make their own armor and weapons, but engineering will be helpful for ranged attackers. Herbalism with alchemy can be a great boon if you are not focused on healing, and you can always benefit from enchanting.

It can be a bit of a struggle to level a paladin without a good power leveling guide. Using a good power leveling guide that is matched to you, getting to 80 won’t be a dream on the horizon.

Once you start playing World of Warcraft you may find yourself attracted to the death knight class. These once heroes started off working for the Lich King Arthas, but they freed themselves to return to their races respective faction with many new powers. Te focus of the class was to be a mix of both DPS and tanking properties, if you decided to take up the tanking aspect of this class you need learn a few things.

Death knights are no popular tanks, so keep in mind that when it comes to a raid situation, the paladins and the warriors are likely going to be more popular than you are. This is generally due to the fact that you do not have a shield, and a perception that death knights tend to lack experience with tanking. Getting over this prejudice is tough, but it can definitely be done, so just keep going. Getting the experience is only a matter of time, after all!

There are many abilities in your arsenal to keep the monsters focused on you and not the less squishy people in your group. Army of the Dead as well as Blood boil will be two skills you use quite frequently. You will also learn that you have many skills for different situations. Try not to use Army of the Dead in overly crowded areas, those ghouls can certainly get alot of attention.

Once you generate some aggro on the monsters you have to hold onto you. You have many ways of doing this. Death and Decary, Frost Presence, and Pestilence are all made for this purpose.

In the case of death knight tanks, you might want to use Frost Presence, due to the enhancements it has on your health, armor, and threat generation. If you’re in a big group, this aspect along will make you a great tank. You also won’t need to have a shield with this ability, allowing you to use two handed weapons in battle.

In a tough situation, you will also find that Pestilence is helpful, as it will spread all existing disease from the targeted enemy to all nearby targets as well. While it no longer does shadow damage, it has a very low cost, which means that you can cast it as soon as soon as the spell cools down. Matching Pestilence with Blood Boil can be a good way to make sure that you are going to be center of attention.

While it is great for holding an area of threat, Death and Decay can be quite an expensive spell. Only use it if you have more than four or so mobs attacking you.

Spend a bit of time learning how to play your death knight. Depending on what your intentions are, the Death Knight Class can be quite useful in many areas, that is why a death knight guide can be so helpful.

If you want to work your way up to being an unstoppable tank in WoW, you want to play as a Warrior. Paladins can be a bit more flexible, but Warriors can absorb incredible amounts of damage. But like with any other class in WoW you need to know the best ways to keep a Warrior geared. In fact the Warrior class relies on gear more heavily than any other.

You might be interested in taking both mining and black smithing as your professions. Many people think this is the best choice for warriors, it won’t be as hard to keep yourself as geared and you will have more money from selling it on the Auction House as well. Once you hit 80 blacksmithing will help you get into end game faster thanks to the gear it can produce.

Warriors primarily wear plate armor. That means your character will be wearing the strongest armor available in the game, but it isn’t just about the armor rating. Certain armor carries trait bonuses with it so you’ll want to keep a look out for an armor’s stats when selecting your gear.

For instance, as a warrior, the top trait that you need to be aware of is your strength. Items that are going to add to your strength rating are quite important. Your strength rating will add to your attack power and if you want to deal damage, this is quite important.

If the gear does not add to your strength rating, look for items that will add to your stamina. Stamina will give you more health and this can be very important, especially as you cannot wear plate until level forty! If you are planning to be doing a lot of tanking, also look at armor that will give you a bonus to your defense rating.

Many warriors carry different sets of armor that will aid them in different tasks. You will have one set that allows you to dps better, which allows you to be a damage support in your group, but if you tank you will have another set.

Once you have your gear you also need to know how to take care of it. Since Warriors are a melee class your armor is going to take a real beating. Make sure that you repair your armor regularly, if you’re a member of a large guild some of your fellows will repair for a fee.

A leveling guide might be something you want to look into to no matter if something as simply as reaching level 40 so you can check out plate armor, or if you have higher goals of something like reaching end game.

Though we often hear about warriors as a class that is very gear dependent, you will find that with a little bit of play, every class has its own gear needs. When you are thinking about how you can get the results that you need from your gear as a warlock in World of Warcraft, for instance, what should you be looking for? Take some time and make sure that you learn more about how to properly equip this class. While the gear that you are using is not going to make as much of a difference as what a warrior might put on, you will still find that it can make the difference between finishing a quest in one attempt and doing a lot of corpse running!

The warlock, for instance, is limited to armor made of cloth. Anything else will help you only insofar as what you make from it through auction, or disenchantment in the case of enchanters. As a result, most warlocks find tailoring the most suitable occupation -something for you to keep in mind when the time comes.

The weapons that a warlock can immediately equip are going to be daggers and unarmed combat, and they can also equip wands. One handed swords and staves are also going to be available to you, but you will need to purchase the skills from trainer in a major city. If you are playing an Alliance character, this means that you will be heading into Stormwind for the sword training, and into Stormwind or Darnassus for the stave training.

As a warlock, you are ideally going to be doing all your damage from a distance. Allowing a dangerous mob to get close to you is going to put you in a situation where you will be taking more damage than you can put out. This means that your wand is likely going to be your main weapon, with your staff or sword for backup.

Begin with easier gear during the early levels and work your way up. While most equipment you come across will be an improvement, you simply won’t be able to use everything; be smart about your choices as you encounter more options.

Armor, for instance, is not as vital as your wand, as you generally should not suffer as many physical blows as say, the warrior. More important to consider is, how will a certain piece of gear boost the qualities you already possess? As you will learn in the WoW leveling guide, you want to choose the gear that will amplify your strengths while providing a protective barrier around your weaknesses.

As you continue to develop your new character, you might want to place an emphasis on stamina-enhancing gear, so you can last longer as your skills build up. Once you’ve got that cover, you want to find intelligence boosting gear in whatever equipment you find for any reason. Finding gear that can enhance the damage your spells do would also be incredibly useful.

All the tools you personally need to develop the most formidable warlock on the scene can be found in the WoW leveling guide. Armed with the proper gear, and further knowledge of the game itself, you will then be ready to strike fear in the hearts of your enemies!

When you are looking to level your character on World of Warcraft, one way that you might choose to do so is through questing. If dungeon runs are not for you, and if simply grinding mobs is something that sounds like it will get irritating after a while, you will discover that questing is a good way to level and to see more of what the game has to offer. After a while, you will see that there are several different types of quests. There are quests where you are going to kill a certain amount of a specific mob, and there are quests where you gather things or look for some sort of device or object in the middle of enemy territory.

And finally there are the escort quests. These quests begin when you come across a friendly NPC who is trapped in a dangerous area. Like many quests of this type in games you need to lead the NPC through the are to a specified location, defending them from harm along the way. Escort quests have great rewards, but how can you survive what is usually the bane of a gamer’s existence?

In the first place, you want to make sure that you are well prepared for an escort quest. Put up any buffs that you might want, and make sure that your health bar is full. If you have a pet, make sure that it is happy with you. You do not need to take the quest immediately, so prepare yourself. Similarly, the quest might lead you out of the area, so make sure that you are done before you go!

Otherwise, follow your charge; when the character you serve goes, you go. Just a heads up: your charge will likely attract every mob that stands between you and your destination. Look sharp. It’s better to act than react, so you might as well draw in the mobs while you’re on guard when you can.

The NPC might run up ahead to fight mobs but when the battle is over they’ll return to their walking route. Keep a close watch on the NPC’s health, after all you’ll fail the quest if they die.

For many escort quests, they will suddenly trigger several guards or mobs into appearing and attack you. This is on top of the mobs you will be passing, so be careful. This is why preemptively pulling mobs is a good idea. The fewer people that you have to fight at a time, the better!

Hunters and warlocks, along with a pet, have the best advantage when it comes to escort quests. If you don’t have a pet you may want to party with other players to take on an escort quest.

If you are nervous about an escort quest, read up on it in a WoW guide. A WoW guide can help you figure out whether you should take an escort quest at your level, or whether you should wait for a while!

If you are someone who has ever tried to put together a raiding group, or if you have ever been spammed with the message “Looking for Healer,” on your capital city’s trade channel, you know what a valuable resource a priest can be. The priest is World of Warcraft’s main healing class, and the higher the level, the more popular they are going to be. One of the reasons for this is that priests are often perceived as one of the most difficult classes to level in the game, and it is true that leveling them takes a different strategy than leveling, say, a warlock or a hunter. If you are set on getting a priest to the end game, though, there are a number of things to keep in mind.

In the first place, consider where you want to put your talent points. The talent tree that you build can be an important part of how quickly you proceed. For instance, when you are looking at how to level quickly, you will discover that the shadow talent tree is likely going to be your best bet. If you are planning to solo, you will find that this is an important thing for you to consider. While you will not be as valuable in group content, you can still play an important supporting role in end game content.

On the other hand, if you want to be the classic healer priest, you will find that you need to look into the holy talent tree. With the holy tree, you will be able to get great healing power, to lower the mana cost of your spells and to reduce the casting time on some of your spell. A holy priest is more valuable in a group situation.

When you are looking to work on single or a few target heals rather than on a group healing situation, consider taking on the discipline tree. This tree will improve your mana, and many people consider them a nice medium between the holy tree end the shadow tree. Discipline priests have some of the qualities of both holy priests and shadow priests, and they are a fairly survivable way to take your toon.

When you want to work on leveling your priest, remember that you should take some time and consider what your options are going to be when you think about trades. Many priests take on tailoring, and this will help you create armor that you can wear. This is immediately beneficial for you. Similarly, consider working on cooking; the buffs alone are going to be worth your time.

You also want to keep track of re-speccing when you’re leveling a Priest character. One great way to level that many players take advantage of is leveling as a Shadow Priest until level 38 or so and then switching to another tree. The first re-speccing won’t cost you much and you’ll get more people requesting you for their parties in group instances.

An Alliance Leveling Guide can really help you out if you’re still having trouble leveling your Priest. With the tips and tricks inside the guide you’ll be able to level your Priest quickly and be one of those highly sought-after healers.

Although running a dungeon is a main component of World of Warcraft play, many players avoid that activity. It can certainly be discouraging trying to get a group together if you have finally found a tank, but the healer has left the game. Now patch 3.3.0 has introduced a greatly enhanced Looking for Group System that will transform not only the way that you level, but the game play itself.

Everyone who’s played WoW is aware of the importance of dungeon runs. The amount of experience you get from these amazingly helpful quests is unparalleled, as mob after mob can be taken out at a time, enabling you to progress quickly; also, the loot that you are able to find in these places can be either very useful or incredibly valuable. Even through every benefit you get from dungeon crawling, however, a lot of people just don’t want to bother with the tedium that dungeons offer. Finding a group that’s willing to go with you is just too much work, and you might have people drop out when you least expect it.

With patch 3.3.0, however, you will find that it is time for you to consider dungeon running again. This patch allows you to put together dungeon groups from all over the servers. This functionality is only useful for five man dungeons. It is not available for raids or for group quests, but you will find that you are going to get matched with people of an appropriate level. This makes putting together a group to go dungeon running much quicker and much more efficient.

When you want to take advantage of this functionality, you will simply open the window where you will select the dungeon that you want. If you leave it unchanged, you will get a random dungeon, and the advantage in doing this is that there are gold and emblem rewards. If you run random dungeons regularly, you are going to be able to pick up a fair amount of gold in fairly short order. One thing to remember is that you cannot get into a dungeon that is significantly below or above your toon’s capabilities.

You also must pick the role you would like your character to fill within the group, which is restricted by your class. You can tank, damage, or heal, and you also must decide if you would rather lead the group or follow the pack. Keep in mind that the gold reward increases as the group is more random. Finally your group will be formed with players selected to meet all the needs of the group.

If you read an alliance leveling guide, you’ll see that leveling can be done quickly through dungeon running, but until recently that’s been an unpalatable option. Give this a try if you want to level in a new and exciting way thanks to this new patch!
